In a criminal complaint of fraud, a notice or complaint relating to the crime may be made to the Attorney General’s office or law enforcement authorities. The notice or complaint made to the governor’s office or the governor’s office or the court shall be referred to the Attorney General of the Republic concerned. The notice or complaint may also be made orally on the condition that it is submitted in writing or in minutes. If the victim has not explicitly renounced his or her complaint since the investigation has passed into the prosecution phase, the trial will continue.
In order for the crime of fraud to occur, the perpetrator must cause a mistake with fraudulent behavior that could deceive a person, to the detriment of him or anyone else, to benefit himself or anyone else. Cheating is a qualified lie.
