Persons whose financial situation is not sufficient to hire a lawyer can apply to the Legal Aid Office operating within the Bar Association located in their province (for example, Bursa Bar Association if you are in Bursa) and request a lawyer by legal aid. After a thorough examination after the application, the bureau evaluates the person’s request for a lawyer and reports a positive or negative result. For example, if a female victim who has been abused by her partner and wants to divorce wants to hire a lawyer in Antalya, they can apply to the Antalya Bar Association Legal Aid Office and request a lawyer.
