Extortion offense occurs when a public official makes a promise to provide benefits and benefits to or benefit from the people he is dealing with by abusing his influence on him while performing his duty.<\/p>\n

Extortion offense, which is regulated in Turkish Criminal Code article 250, can be committed in three different ways:<\/p>\n

A crime of communication by using force
\nThe crime of communication by persuading the interlocutor,
\nA communication offense committed by taking advantage of the interlocutor’s mistake.<\/p>\n
