Requirements for application<\/p>\n
Article 11 – (1) foreigners who want to acquire Turkish citizenship;<\/p>\n
(a) to have the power to distinguish and be mature according to their national law and Turkish law if they are stateless,<\/p>\n
b) residence in Turkey for five years without interruption from the date of application,<\/p>\n
c) confirm with his behavior that he has decided to settle in Turkey,<\/p>\n
d) do not have a disease that poses a danger to general health,<\/p>\n
d) have good morals,<\/p>\n
e) be able to speak enough Turkish,<\/p>\n
f) have an income or profession that will provide for the livelihood of himself and his dependents in Turkey,<\/p>\n
d) not to be an obstacle in terms of national security and public order,<\/p>\n
terms are sought.<\/p>\n
(2) foreigners who want to acquire Turkish citizenship, together with the above-mentioned conditions, may also seek the condition of renouncing the state citizenship they carry.
