WHO AND IN WHAT TIME SHOULD REPORT AN WORK ACCIDENT?

It is obligatory to be notified by the employer to the law enforcement agencies immediately and to the Institution no later than within 3 working days after the accident. However, this period begins from the date of learning of the occupational accident, if the occupational accident occurred in places beyond the control of the employer. If the notification has not been made by the employer, it must be fulfilled by the injured employee.

If a student, apprentice or higher education trainee undergoing vocational training at their workplace has an accident at work,a notification is made by the EMPLOYERS OF the WORKPLACE where THEY ARE UNDERGOING TRAINING OR INTERNSHIP to the authorized law enforcement agencies at the scene of the accident immediately, to the Institution no later than three working days after the accident.
