WHAT IS A EXTORTION OFFENSE?

Extortion offense occurs when a public official makes a promise to provide benefits and benefits to or benefit from the people he is dealing with by abusing his influence on him while performing his duty.

Extortion offense, which is regulated in Turkish Criminal Code article 250, can be committed in three different ways:

A crime of communication by using force
The crime of communication by persuading the interlocutor,
