04 Oct THE DEFENDANT’S DEFENSE PETITION IN THE DEFAMATION CASE
TO THE HONORABLE JUDICATURE
THE DEFENCE COUNSEL(THE DEFENDANT):
ATTORNEY:
PROSECUTOR:
ATTORNEY:
OFFENSE: Offense of defamation
SUBJECT: This is a statement of defense.
EXPLANATION
My client, who is the defendant, was sued on the grounds that he insulted the plaintiff. My client has never seen the plaintiff before, except on the day of the incident. He went to the office to make the payment by card at the gas station in … where the incident happened.
He saw the plaintiff there for the first time, the plaintiff buys cigarettes and water. Too drunk to stand. The plaintiff collapsed on top of our client and threw up. My client, whose favorite outfit was dirty, said, ”God damn it.” This promise is never a promise against the plaintiff, but a personal complaint.
The drunk plaintiff then made abusive remarks to my client and walked towards him. Although my client is a former licensed boxer, he did not hit the plaintiff, but rather took it from the bottom and told him to be decent. the gas station manager and employees who saw the fight later decamped and escorted my client to the car
My client, who left the scene, later saw that this case was opened. It is not my client who is wrong here, but directly the plaintiff himself. He also reserves the right to sue my client for insults and damage to his clothing.
RESULT OF THE REQUEST: We request that the case against my client be dismissed for the reasons described above. …/…/…
