How To Reject Heritage ?

If the murist (Muris or the inheritor or deceased person) is not clearly identified as having been incapacitated or incapable of paying at the time of death, the inheritance may be rejected within 3 months. The declaration of refusal made within the term shall be written to the special register of the court of peace by the place where the inheritance was opened and a document denouncing the referee who is rejecting it shall be given. The heir who does not reject the legacy within the legal period shall be unconditionally won the legacy. In practice, a petition must be filed with the court for refusal of inheritance.
