The liability of the assurance account is limited to the collateral limits set by the Undersecretariat of Treasury on the date of the accident. This guarantee limit is not paid in all cases. First, the amount of compensation that the rights holders can claim is determined by taking into account the defects of the parties. This determined compensation is paid on condition that it remains within the scope of the collateral limits.
