Divorce and separation
The reasons and provisions of divorce and separation are subject to the common national law of the spouses. If the parties have separate citizenship, the common habitual residence law applies, and if there is none, the Turkish law applies.
The provision of the first paragraph applies to the alimony claims between divorced spouses. dec. This provision also applies to the case of separation and declaration of marriage.
